David K. Wong

David K. Wong, 61, of Raynham, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 10, 2017, at the Good Samaritan Medical Center, in Brockton. He was the longtime companion of Patricia Foley, of Raynham.
Born in Hong Kong, China, son of Doo Ning Wong of Brookline and the late Lee Yan (Chow) Wong. He grew up in Brookline where he graduated from Brookline High School prior to settling in Raynham 35 years ago.
David was an inspector for 31 years for the MBTA until his retirement 10 years ago. He enjoyed spending time with his family, coin collecting and day trips to all the local casinos. He was very active either working on cars, in his yard or fixing anything that needed fixing. David was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, at anytime of the day or night.
David is survived by his father, Doo Ning Wong; two children, Kenneth C. Wong and his wife Cecilia of Margate, Florida, and Kimberly A. Alves and her husband David of Dighton; two grandchildren, Alexander Wong and Tyler Alves; his companion, Patricia Foley of Raynham and her children and families, Darlene Anderson and her husband Mark and Ron Foley and his wife Amanda; two brothers, James Wong and his wife Robyn of Raynham and Richard Wong and his wife Gina of Arlington and the late, Thomas Wong and his wife Sharon Wong of Natick; his former wife, Norma Anthony of Taunton and seven nieces and nephews; Bryan, Sonya, Danyelle, Andrew, Amanda, Michael and Erika.
In accordance with his wishes, David will be cremated and memorial calling hours are Wednesday evening, from 4pm - 8pm, in the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave., Taunton.
Interment will be private held on Thursday, in Raynham.
